Dr. Liebl is from Kansas and comes from a family of veterinarians. His father, brother, sister, and nephew are all veterinarians. He graduated from Kansas State University in 1981. He practiced briefly with his father before coming to California.
Dr. Liebl has been practicing in the South Bay for more than 35 years. He has a genuine love of animals and people.
Dr. Kim Doane grew up in Denver, Colorado and attended Colorado State University. She received her Bachelor of Science degree/anatomy minor in 1982, and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1986. She practiced in Tempe, Arizona for five years then moved to Redondo Beach, California. She has been an associate veterinarian at Hermosa Animal Hospital since 1991. Kim is happily married to Dirk and has two great kids, Gavin and Delaney. They live in Torrance with their Goldendoodle Sparky and cat, Berkeley. Kim enjoys swimming, running and yoga. Mostly she enjoys spending time with her family!
Dr. Pearl Yao was born and raised in San Francisco, California. She received her BA in Psychology from UC San Diego. After receiving her Masters in Psychology she went on to veterinary school at Colorado State University and graduated in 1989. After practicing in the Bay Area for fifteen years she moved to Los Angeles in 2004 where she worked at a feline practice. Her special interests include feline medicine/surgery and behavior. She shares her home with her cat Kalanianaole.
Dr. Broussard hails from Houston, Texas. After receiving a degree in art history from Southern Methodist University, she moved to New York to work as an administrator to the Estates and Appraisals Department of Christie's Fine Art Auctioneers. Drawn by her love of animals, Dr. Broussard left New York to attend Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. Following graduation, she moved to Los Angeles to accept a medical and surgical internship at California Animal Hospital. Dr. Broussard joins us from Vetsurg and Neurology in Woodland Hills where she completed an additional internship specializing in neurosurgery and neurology.
In her free time, Dr. Broussard loves gardening, hiking in the Santa Monica Mountains, and reading. She lives in Venice with her two Beagle hounds, Annabelle and Maggie, who make a lot of noise and love to eat.
Dr. Bridget Jacks Sheehey hails from the bay area (outside of San Francisco). She acquired her undergraduate degree at U.C. Santa Barbara, and her veterinary degree at U.C. Davis. After receiving her degree, she continued her training in an internship at San Francisco Veterinary Specialists. She lives in Redondo Beach with her husband and two children. She enjoys reading and exploring the South Bay, and spending time with her family.
Dr. Burgos grew up in Boca Raton, Florida. She attended Florida Atlantic University, then Western University's College of Veterinary Medicine to earn her Bachelors in Biology and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees, respectively. After graduation, Dr. Burgos continued her training by completing an internship at the Hollywood Animal Hospital in Hollywood, Florida. Dr. Burgos gained further experience as an emergency and critical care veterinarian at a large referral hospital prior to her general medicine and surgery practice. Her special interests include geriatric pet care and pain management, dental care, nutrition, dermatology, and allergy management. She is a Redondo Beach resident and shares her home with a collection of pets, her husband, and her daughter. Dr. Burgos enjoys water sports, yoga, spending time with her family, and gardening.
